Bird photography

Birders typically are interested in hearing and seeing birds, getting as good a look as possible, and moving on down the trail to look for the next bird. Bird photographers, by contrast, typically want to capture a definitive photograph of an individual bird as a representative of its species.

Animal portraits

Wildlife portrait photography is the art of capturing the essence of a wild animal in an image. Capturing engagement between an animal and the photographer places the audience in the photographer's shoes, sharing this connection with the person viewing the final image.

Underwater Wildlife photography

Underwater photography refers to the use of digital cameras and specialized equipment to capture images and videos of the underwater environment. It has revolutionized the field of marine biology and allows scientists, students, and divers to document and study marine life and ecosystems,

Urban wildlife

Urban wildlife are animals that live in or around human-populated areas, such as cities and towns Urban wildlife can be categorized into three groups based on their relationship with humans:
  • Human associates and exploiters
  • Human adapters
  • Human avoiders

Night photography

Night photography (also called nighttime photography) is the capturing of images outdoors between dusk and dawn. Night photographers generally have a choice between using artificial lighting and using a long exposure, exposing the shot for seconds, minutes, or hours in order to capture enough light to record an image.
